Last Thursday Extravaganza
My wonderful friend Nikole (from dearest San Diego) road tripped her way up to Portland with her boyfriend Jeremy... They couldnt have picked a better night to swing into town.. Spent the night enjoying Last Thursday festivities in the Alberta Arts district... Quite the night, I must say, Niko and her boyfriend make a pretty great Tom's ad...
Best of nights!

Get Hitched!
We invite you or anyone you know who is looking to get hitched to our sweet little chapel. Fees are minimal, happiness is abundant. I should also mention that Nicole IS an ordained minister. This is no joke.
Seriously.

Mysterious Letters
Lenka and Michael decided to write letters to all 467 households in Cushendall, Ireland.
From their artist's statement: "The art work consists solely of the discussion between the recipients about what on Earth these letters are, who sent them and why, etc."
Art and social practices!
many many more on the Mysterious Letters Blog
hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Comfort Food
Amy's soups are the best thing when you are sick. I had some of this today:
with some ciabatta, yumm!
All of Amy's products are vegetarian and organic and really delicious, you should try some sometime, you'll thank me later.
i'm hoping to feel better soon,

Fixation
I've been itching for a new project lately, and this beautiful cardigan was given to me looking for some TLC... Luckily, I am fully prepared to stitch it up with lots-o love! I am however, quite tempted to leave it as is, simply because its holes are marks of previous loves.
Best of the day to you!

Double Exhaustion
So Nicole, Sydney and myself decided to do TONS of walking on the hottest day of the year... Needless to say the city burnt us up. BUT we did manage to stop by Cup & Saucer (sorry, no website)... their homemade granola is mind blowing.
Anyway, hope your day was sunny and cheery as always,
Rachel
