Tenuousness

i have been cutting back on my coffee intake and it is making me incredibly grouchy and not very zen

listening to some andrew bird amazingly always makes me in a better mood

this has been in my head all week:

so yesterday rachel and i went out and found some color




and then we passed it on to some strangers to make them happy!

The Waffle Window

Rachel and i went to the waffle window today! I think i might be in love with this place.





Basically is is what it sounds like, a window where you get waffles of all varieties! Rachel got a plain sugar waffle and i got a one with nutella and bananas. I am getting hungry just typing this. They were perfect! And the guy working there was so sweet! We are definitely going back soon.

Calm Before the Storm

So i know the whole "rainy day from a window" scene is probably being repetitious, but i sit here in May, listening to the rolling thunder and watching (in true wonderment) as sheets of hail bounce from my windowsill, and i cannot help but think back to an earlier post from Nicole and simply believe "This too shall pass."
