Making Space

Good morning early birds! Before I skip out for the day, I thought I would share a recent project.. I have really crumby shelf space in my room, so I took this cheap goodwill find and decided to fix it up a little.. I knocked out a few of the wooden pieces and stained the wood, then used an old roadmap of ohio as the backing... much better! It's a bit sparse now, but I'm on the search for trinkets!
Enjoy your tuesday

  1. I'm John, a friend of Nicole's. Hello! I just wanted to let you know how much I love this. That's so clever to use a map as the backing. You're cute. Take care.

  2. Ohio? If you're ever in Cincinnati, I suggest Melt for vegan brunch and Sidewinder Coffee for badass espresso.

  3. John, Thank you very much! Im glad you like it!

Murray, WOW! I just looked up the menu for Melt, and I'm drooling on the keyboard... It sounds so good! And I also approve of them naming a sandwich "The Rachel". Speaking of good coffee, I got an Ethiopian stumptown coffee this week that is absolutely fantastic! I will have to send some your way! Take care-

  4. My mom used to have something like this for her spices and I loved it. Such a great idea to put the map behind it!

  5. A spice shelf, I never though about that, what a wonderful idea! Especially if the spices were in neat jars... Hmm, thanks for the idea!
